Cinnamon
We featureĀ an extensive selection of cinnamon, including whole stick sizes, cut and powdered forms. We offer three varieties of cinnamon: Cinnamomum cassia, Vietnamese cassia (slightly different from Cinnamomum cassia), and Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Ceylon). Cassia, which is preferred in the United States, has a spicy, sharp flavor; and Ceylon has a light, sweet, more delicate flavor. With both of these species, the dried bark is used as a spice. The unmistakable aroma of cinnamon usually evokes dreams of hot cinnamon rolls from the oven. Available throughout the year, the fragrant, sweet, warm taste of cinnamon makes it a perfect spice to use during the winter months.
